With an exterior cabinet of high grade stainless steel (both front and sides), this single door reach-in solid-door freezer (model Af23) is manufactured by the Arctic Air company, a maker of premium refrigerators and freezers since 1995. Tested to demanding N.S.F. standards (level 7), the interior of the cabinet measures 23 cubic feet and is constructed of aluminum liner and holds full size pans back to front. This freezer’s door has a magnetic insulation gasket, easily removable and replaceable without using tools. The unit door is self-closing; it also stays open when set at 90 degrees. The condensate heating element, which is built into the condensate pan, provides for the efficient evaporation of water. Some outstanding features of this single-door freezer include high-output exhaust fans, an easy to read digital electronic thermostat and an efficient bottom-mounted compressor. The compressor is accessible from the freezer front and is mounted on a slide out rack, for the ultimate in ease in maintenance and cleanup. Two of the unit’s easily mounted casters are lockable.
